01
The Farm
Where we are, what we grow, and how we work.
Where is your farm located?
We are located at 23549 Highway 20 in Bend, Oregon, on 40 acres of Central Oregon high lava plains desert. Our lavender grows in volcanic soil at elevation, which gives the oil its distinctive dry, clean character.
Do you grow all of your own lavender?
Yes. All of our lavender is planted, grown, harvested, and steam-distilled on our farm in Central Oregon. We grow multiple varieties and distill in small batches each season.
For oils we cannot grow here - frankincense, jasmine, sandalwood, bergamot, white sage, and others - we source from sustainable farms we trust. Same standards, different soil. We do not use synthetic fragrance or artificial substitutes for anything.
What does steam distillation mean?
Steam distillation is one of the oldest methods of extracting essential oil from a plant. Fresh plant material goes into the still, steam passes through it, the oil separates from the water, and what comes out is as close to the plant as you can get in a bottle.
We distill in small batches so we can pay attention to each run. No synthetic stabilizers, no additives. The oil may vary slightly between harvests because the plant varies between seasons. We think that is the honest version of natural.
Are your products cruelty free?
Yes. We do not test on animals and we do not work with suppliers who do. Our products are plant-based and contain no animal-derived ingredients.
Can I visit the farm?
Yes, in two ways. During U-Pick season in summer, the fields are open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays for lavender cutting. Outside of U-Pick season, our farm stand is open by appointment only.
To schedule a farm stand visit, send us a message through our contact page. To find out when U-Pick opens, sign up for our email list or check our U-Pick page for current dates.

The Volcanic Stone Diffuser
How it works, how to use it, and how to care for it.
How does the stone diffuser work?
Our basalt lava stone is naturally porous. When you add a few drops of essential oil directly onto the stone, the oil absorbs into the surface and releases slowly into the air throughout the day. No heat, no water, no electricity - just the oil moving through the stone at its own pace.
How many drops do I use?
Three to five drops is a good starting point for most spaces. The scent is subtle and steady rather than immediate and strong. If you want more presence, add a few more drops. You can always add -- you cannot take away -- so start conservative and adjust from there. Keep in mind, everyone's scent threshold is different, more, or less, essential oil may suit you.
Can I change the scent on my stone diffuser?
Yes. Let the stones air out for a day or two until the current scent fades, then add a few drops of your new oil. The basalt lava stone is porous and will absorb the new scent naturally. You can also rinse the stones with warm water and let them dry completely before switching. No chemicals needed.
How long does the scent last?
Depending on the oil and the size of your space, a few drops will typically release scent for several hours to a full day. The diffusion is gradual and ambient rather than a strong immediate burst. Reapply when you want to refresh the scent -- most people add a few drops every one to two days.
What size space does it work in?
The stone diffuser works best in small to medium spaces -- a desk, a bedside table, a bathroom, an entryway, or a small office. It is not designed to scent a large open-plan room. For larger spaces, you may want two or three diffusers placed around the room.
Can I use any essential oil with the stone diffuser?
Yes. The basalt lava stone works with any pure essential oil. We recommend our Farm to Diffuser essential oils and blends since they are formulated specifically for diffuser use, but any pure essential oil will work. Do not use fragrance oils or synthetic scents - they can leave residue on the stone and do not diffuse the same way.
How do I clean the stone?
Rinse the stones with warm water and allow them to dry completely before adding new oil. Do not use soap or cleaning products -- they can absorb into the porous stone and affect the scent. If the stones have heavy buildup, soak them in warm water for 30 minutes, rinse, and dry thoroughly in a warm spot before reuse.
04
Essential Oils + Diffuser Blends
Sourcing, ingredients, and how to use our oils.
Are your essential oils 100% pure?
Yes. All of our Lavender Essential Oil and Diffuser Blends are 100% pure essential oil with no synthetic fragrance, no fillers, no artificial additives, and no carrier oils. What is in the bottle is what is on the label and nothing else.
Why does my oil smell slightly different from a previous bottle?
Because it comes from a real plant. Our lavender is grown and distilled in small batches, and natural variation between harvests and seasons is normal. A warmer summer, an earlier frost, a different rainfall pattern -- all of these affect the oil. We do not add synthetic stabilizers to make every batch smell identical. The variation is evidence that nothing is hiding behind a chemical fix.
Can I apply essential oils directly to my skin?
Our undiluted essential oils and diffuser blends are intended for diffuser use only and should not be applied directly to skin. For skin application, our aromatherapy roll-ons are already diluted in a carrier oil and formulated for pulse point use.
If you choose to dilute an essential oil for skin use yourself, use a carrier oil such as sweet almond, jojoba, or fractionated coconut oil and follow standard dilution guidelines. Always perform a patch test first.
Are your oils safe around pets?
Some essential oils can be harmful to pets, particularly cats and small animals. We recommend keeping diffusers out of reach of pets and ensuring rooms with diffusers are well ventilated. If your pet shows any signs of distress, remove them from the area and consult your veterinarian. When in doubt, check with your vet before using essential oils in a home with animals.
What is the difference between lavender essential oil and a diffuser blend?
Our lavender essential oil is single-origin, single-ingredient -- pure steam-distilled lavender from our Central Oregon farm. Nothing else in the bottle.
Our diffuser blends are small-batch combinations of multiple pure essential oils designed to create a specific scent profile and mood. All blends use 100% pure essential oils with no synthetic fragrance. They are designed for diffuser use only and should not be applied to skin.
05
Aromatherapy Roll-Ons
Skin safety, ingredients, and everyday use.
Is the roll-on safe for everyday use?
Yes. Our roll-ons are formulated for daily skin application. Apply to wrists, neck, collarbone, forearms -- and allow the scent to warm naturally on skin. Reapply as desired throughout the day. We recommend roll-ons for adult use.
What is in the roll-on base?
Our roll-ons are blended in sweet almond oil with vitamin E derived from sunflowers. No synthetic fragrance, no fillers, no artificial additives. The carrier oil is gentle on skin and absorbs well without leaving a heavy residue.
Is sweet almond oil safe for people with nut allergies?
Sweet almond oil is derived from almonds, which are tree nuts. If you have a tree nut allergy, consult your healthcare provider before using products containing sweet almond oil. We cannot advise on individual allergy situations.
Is it safe to use during pregnancy?
We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using essential oil products during pregnancy. Some essential oils are not recommended during pregnancy, and individual sensitivities vary. We are not able to provide medical advice on this.
How long does a 10ml roll-on last?
With daily use on one to two pulse points, a 10ml roll-on typically lasts four to six weeks. Use varies by how much product you apply and how many times per day you reach for it.
What is the difference between the roll-on and the aromatic mist?
The roll-on is designed for skin application. It is oil-based, concentrated, and intended for personal scent use on the body.
The aromatic mist is water-based and designed for spraying into the air or lightly over the body. It is lighter than the roll-on and disperses quickly. Both use 100% pure essential oils and contain no synthetic fragrance.
06
Aromatherapy Mists
How to use them and what is in them.
What can I use the aromatherapy mist for?
Our aromatherapy mists are designed for body and room use. Mist into the air, spray lightly over your head and body, refresh your pillow or bedding before sleep, or use as a room spray to scent a space quickly. One bottle covers all three uses.
What is in the aromatherapy mist?
100% pure essential oils in distilled water. No synthetic fragrance, no artificial dyes, no fillers, no alcohol. The formula is clean and simple because that is all it needs to be.
Do I need to shake the mist before use?
Yes. Because our mists contain pure essential oils in distilled water without synthetic emulsifiers, the oil and water will naturally separate when the bottle sits still. Give it a good shake before each use to blend them back together before spraying.
Is the aromatic mist safe on fabric?
If using as a linen spray, we recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first, especially on delicate fabrics or light colors. Do not spray directly on silk or dry-clean-only fabrics.
07
Lavender U-Pick
Visiting the farm during bloom season.
When is U-Pick season?
U-Pick season follows the lavender bloom, which typically falls in summer, July and August. Dates vary each year depending on growing conditions. We post confirmed dates on our U-Pick page as soon as the fields are ready. Sign up for our email list to be notified the moment we open.
Do I need a reservation to visit?
No reservation is needed for individuals and families. U-Pick is walk-in during our Friday and Saturday hours from 10am to 2pm. Groups of 10 or more should contact us in advance so we can plan for your visit.
How much does U-Pick cost?
U-Pick is priced by the bunch. Pricing is set each season and posted on ourU-Pick page. There is no entry fee. Cash and card are accepted on site.
How do I dry my lavender after U-Pick?
Hang your bunches upside down in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight for two to three weeks. Once dry, display them in a vase, use them in arrangements, or tuck them into sachets for drawers and closets for natural scent.
We do not recommend putting fresh lavender in water. It does not keep well that way and you will lose the bloom. Hanging to dry is the right method.
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs but they are not permitted in the fields during U-Pick season. Please leave your dogs at home for your U-Pick visit. This keeps the lavender clean and the experience comfortable and safe for all visitors.
