Australian sandalwood opens smooth and warm: creamy, faintly nutty, a soft wood that does not ask for attention. Frankincense comes in underneath it, dry and slightly smoky, the kind of depth that slows things down without announcing itself. Lavender and lemon arrive together, clean and floral-bright, lifting the whole blend just enough to keep it from turning inward. Grounded without being heavy. Clear without being sharp.

Australian sandalwood, Somali frankincense, Oregon lavender, and California lemon essential oils in distilled water. That is the complete ingredient list.

The sandalwood comes from Western Australia, harvested under a government-regulated quota system. The frankincense is Boswellia carterii, steam-distilled from resin tapped by hand in Somalia. The lavender is grown and steam-distilled on our high desert farm in Central Oregon. The lemon is cold-pressed from California peel.

Is this safe for everyday use?
Yes. Mist over your head and body, or the space you are in, as often as you like. It is designed to settle softly, not overwhelm. We recommend doing a small spot test on fabrics before misting directly, essential oils are gentle but a test patch is always a good idea on delicate materials.
Who is this formulated for?
Recommended for adult use. If you are pregnant, nursing, or managing a health condition, consult your doctor before use. Some essential oils are not recommended during pregnancy, and your doctor is the right person to advise on your specific situation.
Does this contain synthetic fragrance or alcohol?
No. BALANCE is made with 100% pure essential oils and distilled water. No synthetic fragrance, no alcohol, no artificial dyes, no fillers. Every ingredient is what it says it is.
Where do the ingredients come from?
The lavender is grown on our farm in Central Oregon, harvested at the peak of summer, and steam-distilled by us in small batches in the high desert. The frankincense is Boswellia carterii, steam-distilled from resin tapped by hand in Somalia. The sandalwood is Santalum spicatum from Western Australia, harvested under a government-regulated quota system, one of the few sandalwood species with a fully traceable, sustainable supply chain. The lemon is cold-pressed from California peel. We name where things come from because we think you have a right to know.
How long will a 4 oz bottle last?
About a month with regular daily use. How you mist makes a difference: a quick pass goes further than you might expect.
Is this safe to use around pets?
Use with caution around pets, particularly cats, who process aromatic compounds differently than humans do. Consult your veterinarian if unsure.
Why Farm to Diffuser and not a conventional fragrance brand?
Most fragrance products are formulated in a lab, with synthetic ingredients designed to smell consistent batch after batch. We do the opposite. Our lavender is grown in Central Oregon volcanic soil and steam-distilled in small batches. What goes into the bottle is a real plant from a real place, not a formula engineered to approximate one.
