Walk the Rows.
Cut Your Own.

Once a year the fields open. Come walk the lavender rows, cut your own bunches, and take home a little of what makes everything we make possible.

2026 U-Pick Season: Dates will be announced as soon as the fields are ready. Check back here or join our list below.

The Farm Opens
Once a Year

For a few weeks each summer, when the lavender is at peak bloom, we open the fields to visitors. You walk the rows, choose your stems, and cut your own bunches to take home. The scent is something you cannot get from a bottle.

This is a working farm on 40 acres of Central Oregon high desert. The rows are long, the sun is real, and the lavender smells exactly like what it is. We think that is worth the drive.

U-Pick is open Fridays and Saturdays during bloom season. Dates are posted as soon as the fields are ready.

Dates are always subject to change.Mother nature sets the schedule, not us. A late frost, an early warm spring, or a dry stretch can all shift the bloom window. Always check this page before you make the drive. We update it as conditions change.

Simple Pricing.
By the Bunch.

We price U-Pick by the bunch ($15 each). You cut, you bundle, you pay at the end. No entry fee, no time limit. Stay as long as the rows are open.

Bunches are generous. Most visitors leave with two to four. We recommend you dry your lavender: hang the bunches upside down in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight for two to three weeks. Once dry, display them in a vase, use them in arrangements or sachets. We do not recommend putting fresh lavender in water -- it does not keep well that way.

Cash and card accepted on site.

Before You Come

What to Know

A few things that will make your visit better.

Wear closed-toe shoes

The rows are uneven and the ground is dry high desert. Sandals and flip flops are not a good idea. Sneakers or boots work well.

Bring water & a hat

Central Oregon summers are dry and sunny. There is no shade in the lavender rows. Bring more water than you think you need, especially with kids.

Leave dogs at home

We love dogs but they are not permitted in the fields during U-Pick season. This keeps the experience safe and comfortable for all visitors.

No reservation needed

U-Pick is walk-in during open hours. Just show up during our Friday and Saturday hours and head into the field. Groups of 10 or more should contact us in advance.

We provide the tools

Snips and rubber bands are available on site. You do not need to bring anything to cut with. Just show up and we will get you set up.

Check before you drive

Dates and hours are posted here and updated as conditions change. Always check this page, or our Instagram @farmtodiffuser, the day before your visit to confirm we are open.
